Every piece of artistic basketry is a one-of-a-kind creation, designed to compliment its intended surroundings. The first step is to discuss what you have in mind with Sally by email or telephone. To develop a design, Sally will need to get a feel for the space the piece will occupy, including the surrounding artworks, furnishings and decor. After discussing a project with Sally please mail her color photographs of the wall or floor area, along with measurements of the space. You may also want to include color samples, such as fabric or wallpaper swatches, paint chips, paper samples, anything that matches your color preferences.

With the photos, include a check for the $500.00 design fee made payable to: Sally J. Bright. The non-refundable design fee covers Sally's time and energy to model 3 design ideas based on her study of the photos and your discussion. She will send you 3-dimentional models of each design. Along with the miniatures, you will receive a selection of color suggestions and cost proposals for each design. The design fee will be credited to the final price of the piece if you decide to order. If you do not order, $200.00 will be refunded when the models are returned undamaged to Sally.

Once you have decided on a design, a deposit equal to 20% of the total cost, minus the $500 design fee, is required to start the piece. The balance of payment is due before shipment. Shipping costs cannot be accurately determined until the piece is completed and packaged. However, she will be able to approximate the shipping price.

When the piece is finished, Sally will call you or email a photo prior to shipping. Directions for hanging are shipped with wall pieces. Sally J. Bright retains ownership and copyright of all designs. Your patience is appreciated. Depending on her exhibit and production schedules, it may take a few months to receive designs.
